Doug '09

Doug is like most of the senior guys that come to our studio. Great personality. Fun to be with. Not so into getting their portraits taken! It just doesn't rank real high on their list of great things to do over the summer.

Hopefully you'd never know it though looking at Doug's images!

We didn't get a great sunset at the beach, but we got some great shots anyway.

The Nelson Family

I met the Nelson family last week in Grand Haven where they were vacationing from Ohio. They are a very sweet couple and have a beautiful little girl. She was quite content with her shovel and ball. I think she could have played in the sand all evening! I hope you enjoyed the rest of your stay here in Michigan and it was a pleasure to meet you. Your gallery will be ready very soon.

Lacey-'09

We met Lacey early this spring and have had to be patient for a few months until her session! We just adore her and her family. It's so much fun getting to know such wonderful students and learn about the awesome things they do over the summer months. Thanks Lacey!

Lexi '09

Lexi was so easy going during her senior session; she was up for anything! We got to see some of her moves on the soccer field and we got the wind blowing her long hair out on the beach. We got some awesome images and had a great time getting to know her. Thanks Lexi!

Ralph's Beach Outing

We had a wonderful time on the beach with the rest of Lexi's beautiful family that same evening. I think Ralph the dog would agree! Isn't he the cutest? The weather was great and judging from Ralph's wagging tail, the water was great too! He was eager to play and attempted to carry around pieces of driftwood much bigger than he is! We enjoyed meeting the entire family. The rest of your images will be ready soon:)

Richardson Family

Kayden was a typical two and a half year old boy during his family's session the other day. He kept us moving, kept us laughing, and was full of expressions! He loves trains, so we took him to the tracks in town to explore the real life cars. After the session, Grandma even had a special surprise to add to his collection. Thanks guys, we had a lot of fun!

Grilley Family

We met the Grilley family at the Holland State Park bright and early on the 4th of July and already we were fighting for a view of "Big Red". Vacationers had their spots picked out in the dunes with their lawn chairs, coolers and shades. We could smell the breakfast cooking along the channel and were tempted to hang out at the beach after the session... it seemed like the perfect start to a relaxing holiday weekend. We could tell the Grilleys were going to have a ton of fun together and are glad to have been a part of their day!

Aaron-'08

We just beat the storm tonight during Aaron's outdoor session; we watched the clouds move in. There was no beating the humidity, though! We found some great textures by the tracks and then found some relief in the air conditioning:)

Jenna-'08

Jenna was our first senior this season! If all of our seniors are as sweet as she is, we'll have an awesome time this summer. We had a lot of fun getting to know her and her dad who came along, and we created some great images.

Diana '09

Dianna has such a great sense of adventure! When I told her we had some new furniture that we wanted to try out in portraits she was willing to play along. I had her dig way back in her closet to find a couple formal dress that would work well with an antique chair we just bought. With her help, the image turned out just the way I imagined it. We also went downtown GR for a little "urban grunge".

If you know Dianna, ask her which unique location was used for her final portrait - she has a great sense of adventure :)

Steve & Kallie's Rehearsal Celebration

Kim and I attended Steve and Kallie's celebration after rehearsal aboard the Grand Lady. The rain did hold off until after the boat ride, although I don't think it would have stopped this crowd from having a good time! This was a great opportunity for us to meet the family, wedding party, and out of town guests before the wedding. We could tell the next day was going to be a ton of fun and are so glad we had the opportunity to spend time with such a lively crowd.

Steve & Kallie, June 28

The weather forecast had everyone a little nervous for Steve and Kallie's lakeside wedding, but the rain held off until the moment (literally) we walked off the beach after pictures! The details were amazing and thoughtful. And the guests, representing 14 different states, were so kind and fun to watch on the dance floor!

Thanks for letting us be a part of your day!
